Instead of continuing my Shukudai-kun re-watch, I got distracted by a batch of very old Vs. Arashi vids I found in my HD which I haven't actually seen yet.

I think I'm in danger of finding Chinen cute, just a little bit.
The guests in this episode are Kawai Shunichi & Obayashi Motoko Olympics-level Volleyball players, teaming up with two-thirds of NYC, Yamada Ryosuke and Chinen Yuri. Since the fact that Chinen practically worships the ground that Ohno walks on, this episode promises to be a really good one, and it is!

The first game played was Jumping Shooter, during which Chinen+Yamada+Obayashi obliterates Sakuraiba. Arashi asked for a handicap when it came to their turn to take the offense, and Ohno practically begged, totally taking advantage of the fact that no one could say no to him, especially Chinen. They got their handicap, but still lost. (^_^)

The next game was Rolling Coin Tower, with Sakumiya playing for the Arashi team. Nino insisted that to catch up to the other team they'd only use 10-point coins, ignoring the 3 and 5-points ones. He ended up collapsing the tower, giving the opposite team an extra 100 points, putting Team Arashi even further behind. That's okay, though, because the last game is my favourite - Falling Pipe!

I was already resigned to Team Arashi losing when it turned out that the first part was Chinen vs. Ohno, and I perked up. Chinen claimed that he would not be swayed by his love of Ohno, but after Ohno begged for him to choose pipe numbers 1 and 2, he caved. It was good that he did, because after that Ohno threatened that he would delete Chinen from his phone contact list if he chose the other pipes! Bad senior, treating his junior that way XD. Ohno's really shameless about using Chinen's adoration of him. Really. Anyway, he did a double catch, after which Jun goes up against Yamada, and immediately proclaims that unlike Ohno he wouldn't abuse their senior-junior relationship to win. Yamada was still nervous about going against Jun, which made Jun insist that he was scary, while actually seeming kind of scary, haha. He still managed a double catch, putting Team Arashi in the lead.

Fortunately, when it was Yamada's turn to catch the pipe (he went against Aiba), he didn't manage to catch a single pipe. Chinen went against Nino (who had probably been seething with jealousy the whole time, lol) and commented that Nino was the one he wanted to go against the least - because Nino had the image of not playing fair. Haha, I find it kind of true that Nino has this image, although in truth it was Ohno who hadn't played fair throughout the whole show. Chinen only managed to catch one pipe, so Arashi won the game in the end. It's always amusing to see Arashi interact with their seniors, but I think seeing them with their juniors is even more so. Plus, it's rare to see Ohno this way, so this is probably one of my favourite episodes (along with the one where Ohno bullied Gackt into giving him one of his rings!).
