I thought I wasn't even that excited about this album. I mean, I was super excited at the Waku Waku Gakkou screening when they announced it, but that was main because album = concert. I had to admit that I was even a little bit disappointed that they had said "new original album" instead of "5x15 album" - in fact, maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like only fans have been using the "5x15" thing to refer to their 15th anniversary? Even the anniversary concert was called "Blast in Hawaii". Hmm. Anyway. Yeah, I was excited. And then when preorders started, of course I missed out on it until it was too late on CD Japan and YesAsia, as well as HMV and Tower Records Japan. In the end, my friend managed to preorder a copy for me (thanks, Iman!)

After that, I just went on a "oh well, I'll just wait and see" mode. Figured I wouldn't think about the album anymore until there're leaks, at least. But then the jacket cover came out, and the tracklist, and I'm just happy to say that ARASHI STILL MAKES ME VERY HAPPY.

I was having an awful day, because it's that time of the year when I'm overwhelmed with work and every day was like non-stop juggling with more balls being added every hour, and I've been sick, with dizzy spells and feeling sluggish at work which really doesn't help with all the juggling, and I was thisclose to turning into an ogre or something, when I happened upon twitter and saw the words, "jacket covers are out!"

SMILES ALL OVER.

If Kit was around she'd ask me if I won the ballot or something. (Which I don't know yet, which is torture, even though I know that it's unlikely to happen)

Anyway. THE COVERS ARE OUT! I know a lot of people will prefer the RE because Arashi's on it, but I kind of really like the LE cover. Makes me appreciate the title a little bit more. (And every little bit helps, with a title like THE DIGITALIAN.) I like that it's different from their usual covers.

I am not going to expect or presume anything about the tracks before I hear them, but I like that there will be a Making Of vid because I miss those. And I like that MatsuJun's solo title is "STAY GOLD". Makes me think of "Kono Mama Motto". Which makes my Sho/Jun-shipping heart go kyun.

The covers above, and the tracklist below, are from J-net, of course.
